We are a bible teaching church, focussed on understanding God’s word together and responding to it. Most of us are involved in bible study groups that meet during the week to support and encourage one another, by discussing a bible passage and praying together. Usually this is linked to the sermon on the following Sunday, as we preach systematically through books of the bible. Our aim is to help one another grow in our Christian lives.
We are a mission oriented church. We support a number of missionaries who are serving both in Australia and overseas, and have a strong emphasis on supporting mission in our weekly services. We also regularly arrange and send people on short term missions from our church, sharing the good news about Jesus cross-culturally.
We are a multi-cultural church, which God has drawn together from over 25 different countries. We have one thing that unites us: our desire to know Christ and to make Him known.
We are a multi-congregational church as we want everyone to be able to worship God in their heart-language. We have services in English, Cantonese/Mandarin (bi-lingual), Burmese, Karen and Greek. The Vietnamese Evangelical Church also meets here.
